Analyze 5G Test Signals

The FSW Signal and Spectrum Analyzer is an ideal solution for the demanding research and engineering requirements of 5G, where designers need versatile tools that allow for easy adaptation to the changing wireless landscape. With unmatched performance and flexibility, the Rohde &Schwarz FSW family of signal and spectrum analyzers can address RF carrier measurements up to 90 GHz and internal IQ signal analysis bandwidths up to 2 GHz. The FSW family provides industry-leading error vector magnitude (EVM) measurements for wideband signals, as well as dedicated personalities to address all current and future 5G standards such as LTE, V5GTF and 5G NR.

High-Frequency and Wideband Analysis. Removing the need for external down-conversion components, the FSW single-box solution simplifies test setups and E-Band test requirements, as well as increases measurement accuracy. Additionally, the solution options FSW-43/50 can analyze the entire 800 MHz signal bandwidth of the V5GTF specification and 5G NR modulation requirements. A scalable 1.2 GHz digitizer can be upgraded to 2 GHz with just a key code.

Amplifier Characterization. With up to 2 GHz of available analysis bandwidth, solution options FSW-K18/K18D can characterize power amplifiers by showing the nonlinear effects of AM/AM and AM/PM distortions. The FSW maximizes spectral performance by helping designers linearize test setups. Additionally, the FSW’s industry-leading EVM easily supports eight times the carrier aggregation testing scenarios.

Single Carrier and OFDM Analysis Capability. With the ability to assess the performance of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) based 5G air-interface waveforms and other single-carrier customer modulation formats, the FSW provides ease of use and industry leading platform performance.
